A wide angle shot at "The Wetlands"in Florida. I used a halcyon filter in post to get the effect of an old Florida Postcard.

I don't think thats just Florida. I grew up in IL, and my grandpa was one who left his lights on year round, and used them on special occasions. It gave that birthday party a special touch.
I love the picture. Great color selection here. It feels very old and warm.

LOL....I was going to say, gee that looks like Harry's backyard :rofl
Nice one Trish ^5 I too, like the toning. And you're right, it does look like a postcard you would have picked up during the 50's. Not that I'm old enough to remember, but that's what Harry told me :lol

Thanks Steve. I just like this old look...but mostly on shots like this one. (On my portrait..I used the "Young action" or better known as the blur tool! )

Trish, where did you get the Halcyon filter?
I do love that shot, was a perfect choice for the filter. I used to take the train to Florida every year in the 40s...........that shot look as I remember it.
ginger, who spent an hour in PS looking for the filter, lol.

Ginger,
The halcyon filter is on my iNova CD. I purchased the tutorial for my Sony Camera. I am not sure if it can be transferred?? I will see if I can figure it out..I use it with PSP7.
