Nice, Trish; all my through the window shots come out like crap. Hope you feel better!

Hey, I just noticed your location: "Space Coast". Got any cool launch photos or something for a space junkie like myself??

I wish I could oblige you...The camera I had when the last shuttle launched really wasn't able to capture the scene well...no shuttles since I have had a little bit better of a camera.

I did find this shot, taken from my yard. It is the launch of a delta rocket.http://fahner.smugmug.com/photos/8006485-M.jpg

Hey, you really are pretty close. Maybe next May you'll get another chance at a Shuttle launch. Let's hope! Nice Delta photo, thanks-

You must get pretty numb to launches, but it would be a big deal for me to see one. I have yet to get to KSC. :cry

I like the scene you've captured. The exposure, DOF and sharpness along with
the subtle color combine for a wonderful image.

Thanks Ian. I did some post on it to loose the "through the window" haze....and it actually worked...LOL

Trish,

I saw this twice yesterday, here and at DPR, and I wanted to make sure I commented on it, before it fell off the charts :rofl

Great shot!! :thumb If you wouldn't have told us it was shot through glass, I wouldn't have suspected. I see no reflection or glare. Good work! Such a colorful little bird too.

Hope you feel well soon and are back outdoors shooting up a storm. Wait, I guess the word storm has a bad connotation to you Floridians.....LOL

Thanks for sharing this one Trish,
Steve

Hey Steve, Yea they fall off the charts pretty quick! Thanks for the comment. I have been using a great little unsharp mask...20/50.0/0....it really makes shots pop!
