All shot with the Canon 20D, 24-70, 1/250, ISO 100, f/5.6-8 and the wonderful beauty dish.
Helps when your model is flawless.

Very impressive (as always:-)!:thumb
I have a question, though...
I found this item (http://www.white-lightning.com/22r.html) in stock online. I presume it's the same or similar to what you used. My question is - how you mount it? To the strobe unit itself (with what?) or directly to the light stand (with all the mounting things included, I presume)?
Thanks!

Hi Nikolai --
The beauty dish shown mounts directly to the White Lightning lights. The dish I used today (http://www.adorama.com/PP505507.html) was made specifically for Profoto strobes. It is a modifier just like a softbox or an umbrella.

Anything you find at Paul Buff's sites: White lightening or Alein Bees is made to be used with an adapter for whatever stobe your fitting it too....They are real nice folks at White Lightening and Alien Bees.....same group of people just goofy names over on the Bee site....I have been dealing with them for almost 20 yrs and have never had a problem withthem communicating with me.....
If you will just send them an email with the specs of your strobe they will tell you what adapter and so that is need to mount to that wonderful large dish you linked to.
OWEN....nice shots like the look:bow:bow:bow:thumb:thumb:thumb and the model

i checked out these shots on your site, stunning model, and wonderful use of light, but i think you've done better work. i'm not a huge fan of the space you were using, particularly the windows.
it's probably not appropriate for this type of series, but i wouldn't mind seeing a smile.

Sure, this is one of your best series :)
Are you really 18?! Damn, my sister's age… I'm stunned. :D
Are you some student in photography?
Anyway, I guess you won't have much difficulty to work as a fashion photographer :p

I think the first one is my favorite! Kind of unexpected. Second one is flawless, but has less to say, if you KWIM....
Great series!

thanks owen, that smile is incredible, but i don't think it would be appropriate for the style of series, which is damn shame.
i have very high standards for you! i'm not a huge fan of this series or the emma series. your other work (the windows series in particular) is spectacular.

I am trying to move away from shots that are just about girls and more into the clothes (on pretty girls), because that is what the client is looking for. Of course, everything is a learning process, and this was just one step in that direction.
