I have Hummingbirds in flight, but this is my first in flight shot of a bird that came out reasonably well -- meaning you can tell it's a bird, and more than half of him (her?) is in the frame.

OK, OK, so it's not up to most of the pictures displayed here, but it's a start.

These other guys make this BIF stuff look easy...I can speak from experience...that is very hard to do. Good picture.

Not getting around much, still waiting to get the surgery on my knee(s). I got this shot out my bedroom window while lying there on the bed fiddling with my D50 and my very expensive 70-300mm G lens:wink . He swooped down and grabbed a piece of toast that had been tossed in the street for some sparrows, wrens, finches, whatever which are way too small and too fast. My original intent was to get him on the ground, and I did get a shot off, but he then took flight and I snapped this one.
I think this one might be a Raven rather than a Crow.
