:thumb Thanks.
I will be curious to see if it creates a noticeable AF difference in low light. I hope so.

updated my 1Ds Mark II. piece o' cake.
now, for the life of me, i cannot understand but there'll be a whole buncha people on other forums who are gonna mess it up and have a facacta camera. i deal in stuff like this all the time, and i gotta say, canon's instructions are really clear and precise....
and then there are those who complain about not having a cf card reader... now why have a $4 or $8K camera and not a $20 card reader? :scratch

You just have to laugh about it.

I was tracking a runner today--wearing dark red--along the trail and was noticing
how poorly the lens tracked in servo mode. It's either spot on or way off.
I will download when I get home and maybe tomorrow, I can give it a whirl.
Thanks Patch!

I upgraded just after the software came out and had a chance to shoot
afternoon surfers over at Steamer's today. The good news is that more
shots are in focus. The bad news is I need to work on my framing :D

I upgrade right away when I hear about a firmware upgrade. Used to shoot Nikon. Want an upgrade? send your camera to Kentucky! No thanks.
Reminds me of flashing the BIOS on PCs. I pray the power holds, and it always does....
