This firmware update (version 1.1.0) includes the following additional functons and improvements:

Improvements to AF tracking in AI Servo AF.
Reduced the time between when the camera is turned on and when it is ready to shoot.
Support added for the wireless file transmitter WFT-E1.

it's actually for the 1d mark 2 and the 1ds mark 2 so don't sweat it :deal

I just saw the announcement for the 20D firmware as well (version 2.0.0), but the only enhancement with it is wireless support, and I don't need to worry about that at $1K for the WFT-E1 adapter :wow
