I went to the Almeda Park Zoo today. I was really wanting to see the "Bird of Prey" Exibit, but I arrived @ the end. No panning shots of falcons for me today..:twitch..oh well. I got a lot of good shots. Things seemed to want to cooperate, except for the fences and cages. I was waiting for a Peacock to show off for me, but it never happened. The swan also refused to pose at first, but after the other ducks dispersed, she gave me a look, like... go-ahead....

Good day tho..:ivar

Nice set. :thumb You want to try to get away from centered compositions and you lost some highlights in that last shot.

THanx... Ican't WAIT till I get my DSLR! I'll never stop shooting!... Gonna have to carry that camera with me more than I do this one!

Harryb- Please elaborate on lost highlights. Learn me...
In the last pic, the little gosling was cleaning him/herself, so I took like 8 shots before I got one of it sitting somewhat still.

Ok, I see what you guys are talking about now. I had the metering in spot (I think, forgot the term), so it was constantly bopping between over/underexposed. It all depended on the duck's positioning. I t changed so fast that I almost had no time to adjust.

THanx for the imput...:ivar
