Howdy friends!
I've been keeping my eyes open for "trashy" inviroments to photograph in, and yesterday by a coincident my friend and neighbour Björn told be about these creepy subterranean places he has to visit time to time in is job as an caretaker. It got me curious and we went there to check it out. Boy, it was really creepy down there, almost more than I could have asked for. Perfect!
I snapped a few pictures and on a couple of them, Björn got in the frame. I said "Look scary" and BOY did he NOT! So, I gaved him a little help with that...... mohahahaha! These should be seen against black background.
Oh, be warned - this pic conatins nudity - hehe, it's me! *Giggle*

That place looks awesome to take photos, prolly somewhere a Metal band would have a photoshoot. I like the photos, just the whole feeling and all. Nice job, definitely digging them. :thumb

Can you post the photo before post-processed it? I'm curious to see the difference.

Matty, you have an endless imagination. It's not only the actual post work you do which impresses me, but rather the foresight you must have in framing the shots to accomodate the later work. I'm guessing that in the back of your head, you already know what you're going to do in post, so you leave yourself room. Kinda like a seasoned magazine cover shooter - you can't get a cover if there's no room for the headline!
I wonder how many people noticed the woman at the top of this image:

Thank you! Well, in general, I do try to visualize the image before I hoist the camera, and again before I hit the shutter. Before, I was the "It-doesn't-cost-me-extra-to-shoot-a-hell-of-a-lot-of-pictures-then-I-get-many-to-choose-from-and-hopefully-some-turnes-out-good"-kind of photographer. But evenutally, I've started to see the benefits of the "Think First, Shoot Later"-way. You save time, both when shooting and when pp, but you also indirectly prolong the lifetime of your camera. Perhaps that sounds a bit silly, but imagine, if you have shoot, and casually and rapidly snap let's say 150-200 frames, using my own statistics, that'll oftenly leave me with ca 20-30 pics that's ok, 10-15 that are good, and 5-10 that I'm really happy with. The rest could just go straight to the bin (and my problem on top of that is that I have problems to throw away images. So irrational and very HD consuming.)
If I keep working that way, when the camera finaly jams on me, it'll haunt me forever that 2/3 of the exposures was just straight-to-the-bin-material.
This has been, and still is an ongoing process. I still fire of many frames, but I TRY to think first - atleast a little. :wink
