Does anyone have a suggestion for watermark software that processes batches of photos at once? The software I've found online looks 'cheesy' and un-trustworthy (the interface.)
Free software is even better.
Thanks
Andy

Can you say what is "cheesy" and un-trustworthy?
Here are three popular free products

Hello Andy,
Thank you for responding.
I have reviewed the links you provided (liked the picasa google alot).
However, I did not see on any of these links an option for watermarking photos (in batches).
I already have two photo editors, what I am looking for is a good watermarking software.
As for the "cheesy and untrusworthy" comment - I am referring to some of the software I encountered online - it looked outdated and generic. Maybe even filled with spyware. I'm not sure how else I can explain it.

While it's not free it's the best at what it does (in all the software I looked at anyway), watermarking. (And I do not work for them, I just really like this software.)
PhotoWatermark Professional overview (javascript:void window.open('http://photowatermark.com/index2.php?option=com_content&do_pdf=1&id=10', 'win2', 'status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes, titlebar=no,m enubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,direc tories=no,location=no');) (javascript:void window.open('http://photowatermark.com/index2.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=10&Itemid=1&pop=1&page=0', 'win2', 'status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes, titlebar=no,m enubar=no,resizable=yes,width=640,height=480,direc tories=no,location=no');) (javascript:void window.open('http://photowatermark.com/index2.php?option=com_content&task=emailform&id=10', 'win2', 'status=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes, titlebar=no,m enubar=no,resizable=yes,width=400,height=250,direc tories=no,location=no');)Whether you want to watermark your pictures one-by-one or in batch, PhotoWatermark Professional is the right tool you can rely on. With both power and ease of use, it allows a mixture of text, drawing and graphic watermarks. A variety of text styles including angled, outlined, gradient or texture filled, 3D shadowed, inner shadowed, embossed and engraved texts render you watermarks that speak of professionalism. To include copyright and other symbols in watermarks requires just a single click. The relative watermark position and size give your watermarks a consistent appearance on your products. Transparency setting allows you to choose how your pictures will be presented to your potential customers. Watermarks can extract various EXIF, IPTC and file information from individual photo. Most common graphic formats of JPEG, TIFF, PNG, Bitmap, GIF, JPEG2000 and a number of digital camera raw files are supported. A built-in watermark file manager helps you manage multiple watermarks for different purposes. You can save your favorite watermarks into the watermark library library and reuse later. Real time hints are available for beginners. PhotoWatermark Professional supports a combination of batch watermarking, cropping, converting, resizing, renaming, enhancing, framing and printing. You can expect all these wonderful features, and much more! You are guaranteed to create your first watermark in 60 seconds!

See if Faststone is to your liking. Either the viewer with additional options (like batch watermarking) or Photo Resizer. You can find both at http://www.faststone.org . It's stated to be freeware, although the author does accept donations.

Check out this outstanding program that includes watermaking (easy) when making proofs.

Take some time to really check it out and I think you'll see it's a very sensible no frills program. I also recommend DownloaderPro by the same author.

ThumbsPlus, by Cerious software (http://www.cerious.com/) does watermarking and numerous other things in batch mode. It isn't free, but there is a free trial. Also supports RAW and has support for specific models of cameras.
