View Full Version : Thumbnail Size Question

Seems like all the questions come from me at one time:

My homepage has 3 thumbnails - all appear pretty small in relation to the thumbnails on the various category homepages.

Is there any way to get these homepage thumbs to appear slightly larger (about the same size as the category homepage thumbs?)

Thanks,

Scott

Sorry, not on the homepage. The reason the cat page has larger thumbs, is you have less than 6. 6 or more, and they are smaller thumbs.

It seems the thumnail size on the home page cannot be madde larger. Is that true still?

On the ever beautiful moonriver site....

1) is your home page a smugmug page or html? If smuggy, how did you get one big image?

2) How did you get the title below the thumbnail and the tn itself larger as shown below

It's actually a slideshow, that's explained here:

This is the one thing I want as far as customization right now, bigger thumbnails on the homepage. Right now they don't have much presence, especially my husbands panoramas that you can hardly see. One image won't do it since we have different directions, and I really don't want a slide show, I want two larger static images that lead to the sub-catagories.
I thought I remembered that your website had a band of medium sized square images that you could click on to go to your galleries. Now you just have the little thumbnails. What happened? Thanks!

To have square thumbs, you use zoom thumbnail (under photo tools).

Perhaps you mean like in my "Featured" link on my website? Let me know.

I see now what I was thinking of. It is on your portrait page where you have a row of photos and when you put the cursor on one it shows below larger.

Here is our problem....I want the image part of the homepage to have more presence...I assume I could have a "slide show" with only one image and then it would be one large static image, but there are two of us, a landscape photographer and a portrait photographer and we need equal billing. Don't suggest we have separate websites (actually a good idea but there is the money and the fact that when someone goes to see his landscapes I get business and visa versa. So we're not ready for that yet!)

Any ideas of how to get the images bigger? They don't need to be, and in fact shouldn't be square.

Thanks.
