Challenge 28 sent in by staff at the burns unit for humungus

Got a shot of the studio in just before i ran from the unit to the road screaming. No-one would stop to give me a lift to hospital...no-one. Had to run all the way there.

All is ok until 5 min 33 sec after you put it on....you notice a slight warming.

5 min 38 sec...its starting to feel like battery acid, liitle warning of the heat curve coming.

5 mins 43 sec...you run to start trying to wash it off

5 mins 45 secs...you know you wont make it to the bathroom

5 mins 49 secs...you dive head first to the floor, stop..drop & roll just aint gonna do it this time round.

I empty a bottle of something over my head to soothe the burning only to find its shoe whitener (that should have been UNDER the sink madeleine !)

6 mins 24 sec...i look like a photo negative of Al Jolson.



Dont know if i'll be doin' that one again.

Lyn..i have a 300 yard approach limit on members of the pulic so i really only have myself to photograph.

I do sometimes hide in the drains under the road & surprise them as you can get some great 'at the moment' shots that way.

Got a heap of 'running from behind' shots also.

This is a cool shot. Very creative mind you have! But, I'm sorry, I would not have known that was "Jim" if you hadn't said so. Really, IMHO I think a "portrait" would have to be a "likeness" of somebody. This is a very interesting "reflection" though. :D Maybe you could shoot Jim in his towel when he gets out of the shower. :wink
