It's been a while since I posted anything in here so here is one of my latest pics

Its a saguaro cactus that has been really disfigured and morning doves sitting on top.

whoa, I've never seen a cactus like that before. I like the colors in this shot, however, the composition doesn't do much for me.
I was just in Glendale two weeks ago, I'll be moving to Peoria in January. I can't wait.

Well I gotta say I too have never seen a cactus like that either :huh
It looks like some kind of abstract statue, nice to see you posting again :D

New one for me too. I recognize the mourning doves...they are everywhere. :D
It seems a little bright did use flash?
If you did it sure brought out the scroll detail of this cactus. :thumb

Thanks for the input. I do agree that the composition could have been better, but the colors were too good to pass up.

Thanks Skippy, it's been pretty crazy at work so not too much time to upload new pics, but I do have many more to post. :D

Yep had to use a flash to brighen up the saguaro otherwise it would have been a silhouette. I set the camera to rear synch too so that it would pick up the colors in the sky. Thanks for looking :D
