Thanks! I have too many shots of half a face, or a blurry hand grabbing for the camera. Oh well, that's the way it works. Thanks for the comments.

My dogs are the same way. Just sit on the floor for an hour or two, he will get bored and do his thing, you can get off a couple of shots. Then start over, maybe change to a better place on the floor.
I have read that letting him take a few photos helps, too. I have done that. Also, they love to see themselves..............little kids even.
But patience is the main thing. At first it is a novelty to a kid, but you can wait that one out.
ginger (Who spends many hours waiting. My husband's response to that is posted on the challenge already..........didn't take long with him. Your son would take longer.) My dogs can be a real trial, but I have very good dog shots, I wait. Throwing a ball for your son might help, too. When he gets half way there, get him to look at you. That way he won't have the ball in his mouth.......uh, hand.

I love this shot. Wide angle, the expression, it all works.
There's that one dot, upper left that annoys me.

I am new to the challenges, is photoshop allowed to remove the dot? It's a reflection on the picture behind him. I used photoshop simply to resize the photo, but not sure how much more it can be used while remaining eligible for the challenge?
Thanks again!

Yes photoshop away as much as you like... in challenges that don't allow photoshop it's made very obvious. :D :thumb

Lovely shot, but I agree with David that the background on the left is a bit distracting
