I worked throughout last night & saw heaps of meteors from this shower from 11 pm until about 4am..maybe some of you on the wrong side of the time line may want to have a try at shooting it tonight.

Its the Geminid shower...much better than the leonid which i have seen several times.

looks like tonight might be a good night for a campfire and a few beers and watch the stars perform!

Sorry kate...it was last night for us......... & you slept through it !

There were some huge ones maybe half across the sky.

yes, if I actually take the time to read things properly i wouldn't seem like such a fool!

it was pissing down all last night, wouldn't have seen much anyway! soo..... did you get any shots of it?????:wink

Lucky not to be shot at where i was. First thing i do when i get a DSLR is to do some night shots.
