Hey Andy,

I framed the shot to get them in opposing corners. I had to move over from my original position to frame it that way.:thumb

This photo has no great colors no real panache, no imagery for me ...

However it tells a story, and that in itself makes this picture great. The more I look at it I think of the heron and its emotions fear ,envy ,hate or a hierarchy of predators.

This is why I like this photo.

Thanks for sharing Harry

Thanks for the complement. The herons loke hanging around the fishermen because they will throw them some bait every once in a while.

The perspective on this is great. What does it for me is the feeling I am
in the Heron's shoes.

Thank you Ian I really appreciate your comment. The perspective is the one thing I concentrated on in the shot, changing my position to get the shot.

It's so very cool to have your important contributions here at dgrin! I'm very glad and will be looking for future nature shots from you!

About this one: I really like the compo. I look at the man, then my eyes follow the sea flow and I get to the heron. Everything is very cool and simple, and that works!

Thanks so much for sharing!
Take care!
