Maybe a fisheye lens? Maybe by a passenger on the bike in the picture? Or else somebody is riding with their nose in this bikes exhaust pipe???? ???

I thought about passenger... but the angle's a tough one. They'd have had to be standing, and against the lean, in a turn where the bike is somewhat leaned over the other way. And the shot is crisp. :scratch

Upon review, maybe he wouldn't have to be standing... it looks like an extreme wide angle lens, which would create the gap between the camera and the rider, I guess. :dunno
