I just got smugmug last night and started to upload my pictures from drag racing at Bristol's Thunder Valley. Threre's over 300 pictures (somehow I can't believe I took that many). I figured I'd try my hand at posting pictures from smugmug so here's what I have.

ps. These were all taken from the Burtons Suite (Presidents suite) so I was pretty far away and high up.

The smoke from starting the engine really did burn your eyes and throat, these guys had the right idea!

anyways, that's all I'll post for now. If anyone wants to look at the others they are all at http://scottmartineau.smugmug.com/gallery/1914871

I haven't edited out any of the bad pictures so just ignore those one!

Thanks for looking guys! And so far I love Smugmug!!

Next time you are at the track, try sitting lower in the stands, bring your shutter down to like 1/200th, and pan as the cars go by. Its kinda tough with top fuelers cause they are damn loud, but you can easily do it for class racing... http://photos.tallmanphoto.com/gallery/1532284

I was using a Nikon D50 with a Nikon 28-200 (don't actually own the lens, I "borrowed" it from my school :wink)

Thanks for the comments everyone!
