Great shots, I like #4 best. A split second difference on #5 and the kid would have had a soccer ball head:rofl

Love the shots of soccer in the rain. I bet you knw about the focus being on the wrong player in one of them...They look great...I always found it funny they don't cancel for anything but lightning...seems like them slipping and sliding around wouldn't be safe.

Thanks for looking--I had my camera covered by rain coat and would pull it out as action looked like it was developing
OOF in the last one ??? I was shooting #18 white my ,son going ,after the ball I like haw they are all focused on that ball

In rain, I typically use a combo of umbrella and I stick the lens through a plastic trash bag or shopping bag. Seems to work pretty well ... but then again ... don't get much rain in these parts.
