I'm trying to get away from shooting everything at my feeder. I wish this was something more exotic but ya shoot what ya got.
I had my sb600 on & used it since it was back lit. To be honest I'm still trying to learn where to put my setting for different shots. c/c are welcome.

I don't mind seeing photos of Sparrows at all this one has a nice sharp eye. Compositionally less steep angle would improve this. Since you have birds coming into your feeders you might try setting up a branch near the feeder that has a nice background and wait for the birds to come to you - if you don't mind the recommendation.
