I made a new light modifier, and I'm pretty pleased with early results.

About the only one who I could get to pose for the new contraption was my daughter's dog, Deisel. He just likes attention, anyway he can get it.

I'm watching Deisel for my daughter for a few days and I wore "him" out.

Obviously I now have a dog "and" mouse pad. :D (Just a snapshot.)

Thanks for the compliment. He's terribly cute, and he knows it.

Unfortunately this is pretty old thread that I recycled and the old flash modifier didn't really pan out. Think of a periscope device and you have the concept behind the design. It was just too big a device and not very efficient. A "scoop" design modifier has replaced the device I used for the old shot of Deisel.

I'm not even sure which camera I was referring to as "new" back in 2006.
