This past weekend saw the best 60 surfers in the world compete right here in San Clemente, CA at Trestles Lowers. Conditions all week were good in the water, but not in the sky as fog and overcast conditions were the dominant factor almost all week. But, on Saturday, the weather was fantastic all day and the lighting was perfect for the finals!

Here's a few shots of this year's champ Bede Durbidge, Runner-up Kelly Slater, and a bevy of shots from Andy Irons, Dean Morrison, Taj Burrow, Mick Fanning, Chris Ward and Co. Enjoy!

Kelly Slater, soooo STYLISH, his turns are the bomb. Beautiful set of photos, number one (the floater) and two(air out) just do it for me. Greeeeat Job!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great light, great action, great captures :thumb :thumb A little tighter, on some of them, might be a little better. But these shots rock :clap

Love Trestles. Used to head up there on our Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Trestles surf loop :D
