Unfortunately the light was getting pretty harsh when we found this guy.

Pronghorn
Antilocapra americana

And the highlight of our trip was viewing this Grizzly chewing on a Bison carcass. Unfortunately, we had to stay pretty far away for safety reasons so the crop caused some detail loss, and the lighting was not the best.

Congratulations Steve! These are excellent shots from you, and they aren't even of birds :wink. I bet Ed's going to be jealous of those bear shots.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Great shots Steve! :clap How well does the sidekick handle the 500mm F4?

I have been very happy with the stability of the sidekick with the 500. IMO if you already have a good ball head then the Sidekick is a good alternative to the full Wimberly. That being said --- I've read enough reviews stating that the full wimberly gives better support and I plan on replacing the Sidekick at some point in the future.
