after reading his threads I just had to try this border/shadow thing. I was surprised I managed to figure it out so quickly.

Looks good. Now if you're using PSP, promote it to a layer, cut out the picture to make the middle transparent and save as a picture frame. Make one for landscape and one for portrait and you're ready to slam on any pic quickly.

I dont know about this Allen.
Those that know me on the board know to be quiet about things like this & wont make eye contact with me when they know im interested in something.
Now you are going to have to explain that all again as if you are teaching a cow nuclear medicine.
Will this work in PS 6 ?
How do you promote it ?
How do you cut it out ?
How do you make it the middle transparent ?
Whats saving as a 'picture frame' mean ?
How do you make them for landscape & portrait ?
I will give you until after xmas on this.
I want to see a bevel on that shot tim !

Here ya go Humungus, I changed the shadow color, added the bevel, and added a title.
I printed this shot on my HP 1700 at 13x19 and matted it and framed it for my mothers office at work and she has already been offered money for it. Of course her being my biggest fan for my sunset shots she will never give it up:D
The "digital matting" is alot of fun too!
Here is your request what do you think????

Brian,
I have heard of Erie Electric, big company isnt it? Beacon has about 250 guys in the field, and like 50 or so in the shop.
We have ALL kinds of work. We are slowly moving north also. I am currently working at the Mall at FairField Commons. If you get in a tight spot I can just about promise you a position down here. They want new guys all the time.
