I like the effect, except maybe for the soft edges. I took shots in Charleston of nice buildings, but the light was deadly dull. I played with turning them into watercolors, suddenly my stunning framing was allowed to shine - in other words, some Photoshop effects can be a fun way to offset shortcomings in the orginal shot. Not that yours had shortcomings, of course. :wink

I would like to repeat what wxwax said - - I had a photograph of a family member that when I pulled it into Photoshop was not sharp enough to satisfy me or any casual viewer and my first thought was to discard it - but - I played with the water color filter in PS http://pathfinder.smugmug.com/photos/2274257-L.jpgand created an image that I find satisfying after all.... I am interested in comments from forum members.....
