I have been able to do this in the past but for some reason I cant edit a cr2 file in photoshop cs2 and save it as a jpg. The option i'm getting are
1. photoshop .psd
2. cineon .cin
3. photoshop pdf
4. photoshop raw
5. ping .ping
6. tif
I use to have gif, jpg and so on. The only I did diffrent this time vs. the past is that I used adobe bridge to rename all the .cr2 files... could that have done it?:dunno

He's in 16-bit. And that's why he can't save as jpg. When you finish working up your file, do this in CS2:
Image>Mode>8-bit

OOFFF... didn't even think of that!! lol... Adobe bridge had changed them all to 16bit. I changed it to 8 and it worked fine!

You can also just convert it to 8bit on demand by going to "image - mode - 8bit" and then save. Jpg will then be an available option.

I know you are but what am I...no wait, that doesn't make sense in this case. How about Touché. No that doesn't work any better than when PC did it...
Well smarty, I used quotes and dashes in my response, which makes it incrementally different than Andy's response (which I just now noticed).
Hey Andy, we need to come up with a sassy-pants award to hand out monthly!!!
hehehe

That would be harsh.
Or direct.
I forget which.
