Maybe the contrast is sometime over-"photoshoped" but it gives not too candid an atmosphere, which is a very good point to me :):

I agree both are exceptional pictures. Might I ask do you usually do your portrait work in B&W for the customers? The reason I ask is as a photographer I often prefer my wedding, engagement shots in B&W but I rarely get a customer who wants B&W.

I actually offer them both, but for some reason I just really liked the conversions on these, the color takes away from the subject , to me anyway! I always convert some of the poses to B&W, just so they can see if they like it or not. I also do color accent if the pic is right for it, I know some out there hate that, but I am kinda traditional and I like it, if it goes with the effect I am trying to create!!
