In different places around the site, people mention plug-ins. One, currently being discussed in the camera section, sounds very interesting.

But I can be a bit of techno muppett at times... so what is a plug-in please? How does it work? And can an idiot use it?

If I was to buy a plug-in, like the sharpening one that's being discussed, how do I use it? Is it like extra software?:scratch

They are a small prog that attatches to Photo shop yvonne that give me something that i maybe didnt have before like a prog to lift colour at the push of a button etc across the colour range....or give depth to a sky shot etc.

They make Photo shop easier to use for people like me that dont know how to improve a photo but by pushing a button we are in the area we should be. They are the plug-ins i have anyway. Hope that helps.

How'd i go guys ?
