Shot a game on assignment this weekend, thought being new to the forum I would post some samples...get to know everyone and let them see what I
do. Comments and critiques are always appreciated!

Stephie,
Very crisp sharp pictures, nice capture in all of them. Can I assume you have a field pass? Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the comments, yep timing is everything in sports. I do have a hsaa pass that allows me sideline action.

My local paper was often double booked as far as staff photographers go so I submitted some samples of photos I had taken and started freelancing for them about 2 years ago. Thats how I aquired my press and hsaa pass as just a freelancer. However you can get one yourself but you have to provide proof that your work has been published somewhere...

very nice work stephie:thumb
I just picked up a press pass from our local small town paper to help them out here & there, but what is the other pass you are talking about & how do you go about getting it?
feel free to email me.

HSAA = High School Activities Association...you have to have one in Colorado to be able to be on the sidelines even if you have a press pass. Gets you access to anything with the highschools free of charge and wherever you want to go.
Which on a side note those of you who cannot get press passes because you haven't been published...may be able to get a HSAA pass through your local paper.
