..it's really helpful for my photography to receive feedback-whether it be positive reactions or constructive criticism...so don't hold back!

Greg,

I like it :thumb I also agree that the bowler's motion blur is nice. Being an IR lawn bowling fan, I've thought about seeing if I could get a rolling ball in the frame. I've always thought that a "blurred" ball would really add to a lawn bowling IR shot :wink Although, I only shoot IR using the NightShot mode and it's tough to get a slow enough speed. I think I bottom out at 1/8 sec. Maybe you can try it with your Mavica. Plus, since it's Winter here (lawn bowling season is over) and Summer there, you'll have the first opportunity to try it.....lol

The only thought I had is that the blue is a little bit overpowering. Any consideration given to including another color somewhere?

I agree-the trees could be green with a mask and change to hue-once I get my new pc I will have a crack at it-PS is not what I call an area of expertise-the other option is to go black and white..thanks for your suggestion

No dis-respect meant, but that's the first time I've heard bowling being described as cool :D .
It is though :dood :super and I like the blue! Must have been really close to being able to see the ball, you can just trace its path now (or is that shadow?).

Could make a good challenge theme "uncool to cool"

yes, the good thing about lawn bowlers is that they hold their pose after releasing the bowling ball
