View Full Version : Having Trouble With Gallery Pricing...
THE TOUCH

I'm sure that I'm missing something stupid, but my frustrations getting a little too high!:D
I have my default pricing for "Portfolio" and I'm trying to change the pricing on a gallery to the Smugmug default so the viewers can order prints at cost. So, I go and set all the prices for that gallery and click "Save", log out, and pick an image to order. But, when I go to the cart the prices are the Portfolio prices, not the defaults.
What am I missing!!??? :dunno
Thanks!

Well...I think I've tried every possibility.
If I put a value in that is greater than the Smugmug Default, it seems to work okay. But if the Smugmug cost is $0.19 and I put $0.19, it defaults to the Portfolio.
For now, I did a 1% markup and it seems to be working fine. I think I would actually prefer doing this so I can track ALL the orders.:dunno
I would still like to know what I'm missing - maybe it's just too late to see the obvious!:snore
I do it the other way around. My portfolio pricing is $0.01 above the Smugmug default, so I can track it and I then price galleries if I want higher pricing.

Thanks guys! I always forget about the blog. I read the help/pricing page over and over again!
I think the biggest frustration was that the "Quick Input" has the option to put the Smugmug Default in for the price and save it. Only to log out, buy an image, and realize the price hasn't changed.
Thanks again:D
