Finally got my camera out last night to try to get some star trail photos. I got lucky, as I think the north star just happened to be in the frame, completely unintentional as I know very little about astronomy.

Shutter was left open just over 11 minutes. Shot with Tamron 28-75mm @ 28, f/5.6 ISO 400

Considering it was unitentional you got yourself a great shot :clap

Good job-- especially for your first shot. Star trails are tricky things to photograph. The longest I shot was somewhere around1.5 hours. Its a 2 by 3 foot print.
