Thanks Gubbs, I hope so. I just hope that there is someone available to get a shot of it up there for me!! I Know that its a Sunday and Milkeeee from STF had a hard time getting someone to get a shot of his because it was on a sunday.
Thanks!

Lynn I have already found like 9 cameras in times square. Only one is a streaming live feed.
Still not the same as a real picture of it up there. I hope someone will be in the city on that day.
Here is a link to the cams.

Tim, I just have to ask.
You know how they ask you to tell a bit about how, why, etc. you did the shot, where and why you are especially attached to it.
They say they pay attention to that "story". I'll be darned, but most of the time I have no idea what to say. Say I sent them a photo of my ballet shot, well, all I could honestly say is that I really want a POTD, and I think this is a good photo. That is not going to tug heartstrings. The real problem is sending multiple photos of anything, can't give the same story.
How have you been handling that...........or anyone else????
I love your frog: uh, why did you tell them your frog should be up there, or whatever the question is.

Wow Ginger you sound so professional in your question asking that I am not so sure I can answer you lol I feel like babra walters asked me that :D
I just titled it the hopin christmas toad. And to be honest I am not 100% sure i remember what I wrote in the captions. I think I said something along the lines of it is my pet and that I was bored and took this shot. So to answer your question, No I dont really put a whole lot of thought into the comments box. The editor has emailed me several times and she always refers to herself as Us or We. She said in one email "WE all love your email address, I am sure there is a story behind it" she also said "WE all really love your Christmas Toad" So I guess they have a team of people who pick the potd. All I can say is be honest and say how the picture makes you feel. I guess if your shot makes you feel that "you just want to win a potd" then so be it lol:rofl
Thanks for the great questions!! I felt like "the heat was on"
Tim
