Adding links? Is there a way?

Hi all, Im wanting to add a couple links to my smug mug pro site. I use IE.
Is there a simple way to add a few links? nothing fancy just a section on my home page titled links with for or five www.blah (http://www.blah) blah blah.. i dont need clickable thumbs or anything like buttons or banners, just a clickable written link.. I have tried but know NOTHING about doing this.. Id like to add a few links for some friends. For now i can put them on the footer but they arent clickable, youd have to copy and paste them into your explorer bar.. and thats not cool.

now, if i cut and paste the example and then cut out the link and insert my own... where do i put the whole finished thig on my page? Id like to insert it into the footer.. is this doable?
