Where is my 5D manual???

Some where during my last three photo assignments I have lost my manual for my 5D...#$%&%*!!!

I have the camera well figuered out so no big loss ...I probably can send away for another but today I came accross a situation where I needed to take some photographs with the mirror in the tripped or mirror up position . I have looked over the camera but could not trip the mirror...what am I looking for? ...can anyone drag out their manual and tell me what to do...Thanks in advance...Tony
