State cops launch effort to find sex offenders

By ADAM ORTH
Recorder Staff

GREENFIELD - Days before it was publicized, a new state police initiative to track down missing sex offenders located the man police wanted the most: Arthur L. Terrien, 52, a former Greenfield resident.

"He was our poster child," said Detective Lt. Kevin Horton of the state police's Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section. "We all agreed that he was the worst of the worst."
