Fuji announces S3

Fuji has finally announced a replacement to the S2, the S3. I had the S1 and it always delivered very good quality and especially color for the mp at the time. It still seems to be based on a N80 body, but it looks to be modified much more, integral vertical grip, better ergos. It still has a 1.5x multiplier. It is supposed to have a 6mp sensor, claimed to deliver 12mp worth of data. It should give a great option to Nikon lens owners looking for a DSLR body. It now only uses 4AA, no CR123's. No pricing or availability give yet.

Here (http://www.digitalphotographers.net/fujis3/) is another site with some more info on the S3. The sync speed is 1/180, with both USB 2.0 and Firewire, not bad. Now we need to see some images, find out the price and availability.
