This is the original from which the above is cropped and photoshopped, just a bit, well...............I had to!

I brought this from RAW, changed it to a jpg, did not PS it at all, nor did I crop it. Anything to help with an ID. I have tried looking it up. I think it is a heron.............but the blue color is throwing me off, plus the spots (immature?).
There was an immature night heron there, and there were several green herons.

I need to know which folder to put it in, plus, what to call it, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Harry! I appreciate it....... I was leaning that way, but I just couldn't "nail" it down!

Hope you are doing OK. Cellulitis? Bad stuff!

Thanks, Dick! I softened him up more than he was. Motion challenge: soft, except my egret shot.............blur.

I was looking for super blur from egrets. Didn't get it, and I have my choice tonight, dinner or another try.

But heavy tryin' well, that ruins challenges for me. Then I cry a lot.

If I only try a bit for the fun of the topic, I am OK with it, but if I spend my "life" on it, the whole thing becomes too big. But gosh I feel guilty about not wanting to go out there tonight.

Since I think I am entering the Egret, I will tell you that I not only used motion blur, then took it off most of the bird, except the wing and feet, then I liquified that....................never have tried that before: took me hours and all of my books to figure out how to get it as soft as it is.

I have ones that were nailed, don't show any motion.

thanks for the comment. And, yes, I will keep it, smile. In what form, I am not sure yet.

ginger (maybe I should have taken more of the motion blur and liquify off of the feet) Thanks!
