I sell off this album at the moment. (http://wadjelaphotography.smugmug.com/gallery/1636623) I get an email from a rider and i then take the shot to my local printer & sell them to them for x

I have turned off the 'basket function' so they cant see the US prices... but i have clients now telling me that they want the 8 x 10 @ $2.99 :dunno
That's the rack-rate, Gus. If they were to order a photo of their OWN via SmugMug.

You're selling professionally. Your price is your price.

Who cares? They can take or leave your price, and you're certainly not going to be giving your work away for free, which is what $2.99 is, to you.

Life is too short, IMO, to negotiate with these kids. Your prices are reasonable, sure they can order a print for 2.99, but a print of what? That's just the print, not your work, talent and time.

Just FYI, we have two catalogs: http://smugmug.com/prints/catalog.mg and http://smugmug.com/prints/catalog2.mg . If you're a pro and you keep the "prints and gifts" link in your footer, we feed your custs catalog 2 (because you deserve more than $3!).

Visitors can still stumble across the priced catalog (from www.smugmug.com (http://www.smugmug.com), for example). I hope that clears things up a bit.

I dont even know if they can order SM photos from my site to be printed in the US & sent to Australia.Yep, they can ....

And use this,
.cartlink_footer { display: none; }
in your css to hide the shopping cart in the footer.
