Thanks to Rutt, we've got our new and improved Shadows/Highlights (http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1777665) tutorial up and running. This tutorial replaces the two previous tutes on the subject, and does a better job than the other two did, combined! Nice job, Rutt.

Generally, RGB works best for highlights, LAB for shadows, but if you click on the digital grin link at the end of the tute, you'll get to the thread where this is best discussed.
