Cappadocia is located in Turkey. It was created by volcanos and it is very rich in natural and human history.

Wow! What an unsual place. They look like castles carved directly out of the rock. The balloon trip must have been incredible. Makes me want to read up on Cappadocia!

The balloon ride was OK. I did it the first time in Kenya and I liked it much there there because we got much stronger wind.
Fairy Chimneys themselfs are carved by erosion.

Cappadocia as well as Turkey is a very interesting place to visit.
I'll post few more pictures from Turkey later.
Here one more picture from Cappadocia. It is an underground city. Those cities had many levels. At the picture you could see a round rock that was used to close the entrance. The cities were used by early Christians, who took refuge there from Romans and Muslims.
