Dang it, I can't find it right now, but somewhere out there is a thingy where you can run Windows apps on an Intel Mac without booting XP in any way. It doesn't work with the latest Windows IE, but it does work with a recent one. I'll have to see if I can find it if you don't find it first.

It's only a couple of handfuls of apps that you can do this with, but this time you lucked out, it's the one you want!

EDIT: Here you go (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxoffice/supported_apps/), you can run IE6 with this.

EDIT 2: The link above is to supported apps, but is about the Linux version, which is supposed to support the same apps that the upcoming Mac (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/) version is supposed to. It's due any day now.

And a PS: I know nothing about this software beyond what I've read on their site. Caveat Emptor.

I'd change banks, that's outrageous. Which bank is it, I can use Firefox with mine?

Search the page for Internet and you'll find IE 5 and 6.

I'd be looking for a new bank. But David's suggestion is good, and so is running Parallels + Win XP2.

Not supported by Apple or MSFT anymore. But hey, if it works for you....

Well turns out its much more difficult than I thought!

The problem is they stor password details in a locked encrypted program! wich only works in windows! so it wont work on a mac even with IE!

That sucks. Poor online support by that bank, I'd say.

Its annoying! can still do the basic stuff, but the software basically allows you to get the full functionality.
