I love the playfulness in the photo. As far as the conversion goes, it looks fine if not a bit washed out toward the elbow area where it meets with the dress.
Great shot!!!
I think the conversion is very well done.......

I love the steep angle you shot from. Great capture.

Thanks so much, everyone!
As for washing out on the elbow and the shirt, that doesn't bother me too much since if they were stronger contrasts, it might take away from the face. But if others feel that it should be stronger, I'll try playing around with it more. Sometimes when you get to close to a shot, you dont' agree when you actually should! LOL! Thanks for your comments, though!
I've been trying to find different lighting situations to get different feels.... I was pleased with the shot, but couldn't get the contrast I wanted until I figured out really how to use curves....
Thanks so much!

Great shot. I usually don't like shooting down on someone, but your angle works very well here.

Yeah, I'm pretty careful about that. It drives me nutty most times... I'm glad it works here for you, too, though! Thanks so much...

I love the shot!! As for it being washed out a bit...I think it works here especially with the placement of your sig. It looks more of a sepia tone (which I absolutley adore!!) on my monitor. I really like the angle.

Thank you so much, Mandi. It's what I generally call a "warm" b&w since I don't do a true b&w. I like the warmth of a slight sepia when doing kids, most of the time.
Thanks for your kind words!

that's a beauty! Could be a little over exposed maybe.
