Wow! I definitely love the first. The color contrast and the horizontal against the vertical makes it a very stunning candidate for the theme.

Id go with the first shot, it has a great color contrast and just looks impressive overall.

I like it a lot! I was going to try and come up with a suggestion of something more to do, but I can't, it looks very good as is :)

Nice work!:thumb

I saw you already posted it but I had to comment!

The first one is CONTRASTIC! (hehe!)

My wife and I were driving down the highway today and I saw an orchard that really showed a lot of contrast. I said "wow, that's got a lot of contrast...it's contrastic!". I was so excited with my new word and I got to use it here!

I like the second one as well.:D

My wife just took a look at it and made a good point - not only do the colors contrast, but there's contrast in directional forces. Interesting!

And, according to your new vocabulary rules, it makes it "polycontrastic" :rofl

'contrastic'. that is an awesome new word invention. LOL.

i like the first one, the almost silhoutte branch matched with the golden leaves is really full of contrast. however, the subject is lacking much detail (the branch). i wish you can go back and reshoot another area or something, or even bring your own subject. but, after seeing it with a border, yeah, i think it works. but then again, i still feel like im looking at a simple stick in a bush. but screw what im saying, turn it in, i love the gold. lol good luck.
