I know this is not great, but I had to be quick.. The dog came running over full of fun and wanting to play, one HISSS from the swans and he was gone like a shot :rofl

I call that a wise dog... Nice shot. The swans are very sharp so we know as viewer that the dog ran. Very nice.

Lynn, I used a Tamron 28-75 f2.8. Pathfinder led me to it and the reviews (http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=187&sort=7&thecat=29) are very good, plus its an excellent price. I'm pleased with it, but I don't have experience of much else:D

With the biggest contrast: movement vs static :D Very appealing and dynamic photo!
Oh, and I like the detail a lot!
Cheers
