Thanks, Harry. :D
I was using the center AF point and think I may have locked on the reflection instead of the critter. :dunno

Harry covered the focus, but the last two are very nice. You had a great day Ric. :thumb :thumb

I agree, the last two are very nice Ric. Just watch your shutter speeds. The first three were all shot at 1/50th to 1/100th. At 420mm that is way way way to slow, even if these were on a tripod. Try to keep your shutter speed at at least the focal length if you are hand holding. It sure looks like your having a blast with the 300 Ric.

Gee, I've gotta take the time and look at my exif info! f/5.6 is wide open with the TC so I figured one stop for sharpness. These were all handheld!
I always shoot aperture priority so if I go to shutter priority it won't be able to find a suitable aperture....right? So boost the ISO...I guess. Yesterday I was at 500 ISO and today at 400....makes sense.
Thanks! :D

No problem Ric. I do that all the time. I have so many shots that I would like to think were keepers that I botched because I was caught up in the moment and didn't check my settings.
