Saw this little guy hiking in some Wisconsin woods last week. Talk about camoflage!

He was easy to find because I knew there was one there. But, I am totally amazed you saw this guy while walking in the woods. I'm sure I would have walked right by him and never noticed him. Very nice capture.

wow... when you know you're looking for you can find it, but if I were walking around I don't think I'd ever see it.

Wow, good eye(s). All of us that would have walked on by should consider ourselves lucky being too big for a toad's dinner.

Holy cow -- missed that one. It IS a toad, not a frog. Thanks for the subtle correction. It was so bitty, I just naturally thought 'frog.'

Thanks for all the nice remarks - even though it's a toad! He moved just slightly as I was walking back to my car, was less than 2" long, so I almost missed him.

That is a terrific shot :clap . Its not easy to take that kind of shot and to get your subject to show. Well done.
