About the only thing I can say is that it is a little soft and the petal from the background makes it look like the wing has some sort of purple substance coming off of it. However, I like the pic. It's hard to not appreciate the colors of a good butterfly/flower combination.

always look at your subject and then the background --this ain't good the backgound kills your shot and it is too hot --give it another try :thumb but be careful with fill flash :D really work for better light

thanks for the advise ... funny i never noticed the purple flame off the wing till you pointed out ... funny how we get zoned to looking past some details... background was not my choice this little bugger would not get still.... thanks again i will keep going..this close up stuff is fun...kinda like a small scale scavenger hunt...lol:rofl
