Did you notice how big that butt is?

When I first looked out into the field, I thought she was a horse! Those kids are well fed too!

Thanks. :D

Yeah, except that her ears are so big you could mistake her for a foal!!!

Nice set Ric. You did a good job of handling some harsh light.

Looks like you definitely got her attention in that first shot. Congrats on getting some good shots before they scampered away.

Having been a hunter in my younger years, I know what to expect from deer. She heard the shutter and looked directly at me. As long as you keep your arms in and don't move, they don't know you from a tree! She kept taking prancing steps towards me.....giving me a better shot with every step. :thumb

Thanks. :D

I like the first one Ric. Did you notice in teh last one that she is even sticking her tongue out at you as she is running away. I have been trying to get a shot of a fawn since spring and have yet to get one. So good job and hopefully you will see them again in better light.

Good set Ric. I might have cloned out Mom in the second shot, and made the kids a little larger, but making different choices is what it's all about. :clap :clap

I thought the tongue was cool. She had a mouth full when she took off.....talk about "eating and running"!

Thanks, Nick. :D

That cloning will have to wait til a slower time. I spend too much time on the computer now.:nod

I've got a ton of shots that I could do something with.....winter will come. :cry

Thanks, William. :D
