I have spent quite some time now searching for information on how to set up HTML only pages within a SmugMug site. I still cannot get it working.

I have two problems:
1) The "...brand new gallery..." blurb still shows, despite of my CSS change according to Andy 's advice elsewhere.
2) I get the big SmugMug footer on my HTML only pages, even though I have chosen the "no" radiobutton in my customization page, and have something in my own footer text box. It works for the gallery pages, but not for HTML only pages.

Example here: http://zerobuttons.smugmug.com/gallery/1700143

Please give me some working advice here.

Best regards,
David List

I see no "no photos" message and I see the SmugMug Mini Footer.

So, what's the problem, did you have "hide owner" checked, that will negate all your customizations :)

You must have figured this one out because the gallery you link to below doesn't have the "This is a brand new gallery..." blurb.

You're getting the cobrand footer. That's exactly what you should expect to get. You can't completely remove the smugmug footer on any page, that's as small as you can get. Although you can use javascript to remove the login link and the shopping cart link. The details can be found on dgrin using a search.

Actually, there's CSS that'll do it. It's in my FAQ :evil

I had the right settings, but kept using the "www.smugmug.com/gallery/xxxxxx" link instead of "zerobuttons.smugmug.com/gallery/xxxxxx". :doh

I've done it before, and I did it again.....when will I ever learn.

BTW, my site is getting there. I have allowed myself to move contents of the standard SmugMug pages to my own pages in HTML galleries. I have seen that other users have gotten the OK from SmugMug in doing this. However, I have also changed bits and pieces in the text here and there. Is that a no-no, or is my current form OK?

Take a look at the pages I link to from my navigation bar now:

Thanks to you and Mike for your answers.
