How does that saying go? The cow is always darkest before the dawn? Lol.

Very nice, Billy. :thumb It reminds me a bit of a series of billboards and ads that are all over Spain advertising a major distillery, Osborne, though naturally they feature a bull, not a cow. It would be improved a bit if you cropped some off the bottom. It would be improved even more if you could clone out the electrical tower. Just a thought.

Cheers,

Cheers,

Actually, i did clone out the electrical tower in one version. In my eyes it didn't look quite right. Too much horizon and not enough silhouettes i think. As for cropping the bottom, i may do that. But i have already cropped alot off the bottom. May make it too small to print an 8x12(my favorite size). But thanks for the ideas.

Man, that's a really neat shot!! :thumb :thumb

If you crop just a wee bit more off the bottom, the cow will be right on the 1/3 line which is where you want her. Not that the current crop isn't excellent though.

Ecellent shot Billy :clap Great color and good composition in the shot. I probbaly would have composed the shot with the cow more towards the right of the frame.

I was in such a hurry that morning trying to get some shots in before the sun came all the way up. I knew i couldn't get many more. I was already running up and down the road trying to get as many as i could. This pretty much was my last shot, useable anyway. The sun is causing to much over-exposure? or blowout on every picture after this one. I just didn't have enough room or time to get the cow to the right side of the frame. And did i mention this cow would not stand still... lol. It was a fun 10 minutes tho. Thats what i think about when i see the photo...
